People love specials and receiving discounts. You can offer Specials for many reasons such as:
- Introductory Rate (Your site is new and you’re offering a special introductory discount for new submissions)
- Holiday Sale (Any holiday is a good excuse to offer some kind of a special rate… ie. Valentine’s day special, Easter Special, Fourth of July Special!)
- Seasonal Specials (Seasons are another reason to have a sale… Summer Special, Winter Special, Spring Special)
When you do offer a special it is good to place an actual time limit on it that is clear. Holiday specials can last a day or a week. If you set a limit on your special people will be more inclined to not only believe it but act on it. Adding the line “Sale Ends Dec. 30th) adds urgency to your offer.
