This is a real Established PR 5 Website Directory that’s already getting real traffic. This is one of my favorite sites and I hate to see it go. So once again here is my latest offering exclusively here on eBay.

This is a blog directory listing over 65,000+ blogs from all corners of the globe. Almost every country is listed with country specific blogs listed in each. Every page is static as well as detail pages for every listing. This means the site has over 65,000+ pages. It gets a lot of submissions and requires bloggers to link back bringing the site new backlinks monthly. Bloggers love posting the blogdup button on their sites showing they are listed and it has received a lot of attention because of this. The blog button looks like this 
I started the site in Feb 2006 and the site just skyrocketed and has been gaining popularity ever since. It is now considered to be one of the top blog directories online and is listed in many blog directory lists webmasters put together. It has an easily recognizable name and very memorable. The domain is short and easily marketable.

The site runs on the phplinkdirectory directory script and I’ve customized the template so that it’s totally unique. It is complete CSS so the design is seperated from the code. The site is also light weight so it doesn’t use a lot of bandwidth. It has a complete backend system to administer the site that is super simple to use. It allows you to add/edit/delete listings as well as add/edit/delete categories. It even as the ability to charge for submissions but I never enabled it. Another important feature is the CAPTCHA code (enter the letters/numbers you see to verify your human) on the submission page detering submissions by fake bots trying to spam the directory with automated submissions. This saves on a lot of headache. So all the submission received are from actual humans. If you’ve ever run a directory this is very important.
Because it takes a long time to acquire thousands of sumbissions I originally bought the database of blog listings and paid to have them imported into the site originally costing me $200. Since then the site has received a lot of blog submissions. I’m not sure exactly how much. Some Bloggers that didn’t submit their links found their site listed and faithfully linked back. The site will continue to receive new links as more bloggers submit their sites and link back.
Site gets roughly 1200+ unique visitors a day or around 36,000 unique visitors a month with zero advertising. I don’t pay for this traffic. It’s all Free. All the traffic is targeted and organic coming from the major search engines like Google and Yahoo, mostly from Google.

I just put up Google adsense on the site on the 6th of March and the site has earned $30 so far this month. So the site makes around $60 per month from adsense. I’m sure it can be increased but I haven’t tested it. I’m only running one adsense block along the top. Of course text links can be sold and you can link to your own sites from this one if you choose which is indirect profit. Link to your blog(s) or adsense sites to get them spidered and boost your pagerank easily.
This website is very easy to maintain. When a new submission is made, you receive an email letting you know. You then log into the admin section and approve or deny the listing. You can also add sites by hand if you want. It takes about a minute to approve submissions. I usually spend about 15 minutes a week approving all the new submissions. It’s as simple as that. You don’t have to spend time on SEO because every blogger already links back saving you lots of time.

The complete website will be quickly transferred to the new owner upon receipt of the winning bid amount. They will become the owner of the web site and domain name blogdup.com

The domain is registered until Dec. 2007 at Godaddy.com. I will transfer the domain to your Godaddy account free of charge. Don’t worry if you don’t already have a Godaddy account as it’s free to sign up for one. The domain costs around $9 a year.
Hosting:
The site is currently hosted on my own server and I give you a month of free hosting until you find a new host. I can suggest a great host to use if you don’t already have one. The site does require a linux host (so it can’t run on a windows host). I will help you get the site up and running on your future host as needed. If you would like me to restore the backup of the site onto your own hosting I require that you have a hosting account with cpanel control panel. This site can be hosted for around $9/mo.
